When kids are empowered to be their best, we ALL succeed. In Sioux Falls, School Resource Officers work with staff and administrators to identify students who can be empowered with self-esteem, confidence and self-worth &mdash all traits that correlate to success both in and out of school.
Each month, two students are being selected to join School Resource Officers on a community outing that includes shopping at SCHEELS, haircuts and styles with local salons and being treated to lunch with their SRO and other students.
While these may seem like normal activities to some students, many kids haven’t enjoyed these childhood experiences. But as a community, we can help.
Together with these partners, CORE is impacting students’ lives one experience at a time.
